    Job Description

    Strategic Function:
    Work closely with management, support them in expanding the business and assist in execution and implementation of business plans.

    Operational Function:
    Take on and assist management in:
    a. Company Administration such as (but not restricted to):
    • Supporting finance and accounts department;
    • Prepare documents as such meeting minutes, drafts of job descriptions, official correspondences;
    • Office Housekeeping;
    • Coordinate internal and external meetings;
    • Support Marketing Activity such as maintaining and expanding database of contacts

    Estimated 35% of working hours spent on this

    b. Project & Business Development Support
    • Follow up with clients, suppliers and other service providers located in Singapore, China, Indonesia (or possible other regions);
    • Prepare and coordinate drafts of contracts, BOM, SOW, purchase orders, invoices and other project related documents;
    • Opportunities to meet clients and suppliers
    • Some work related overseas travel may be required

    Estimated 65% of working hours spent on this

    For both positions, you are expected to follow through with assignments within given and agreed timelines; make recommendations; as well as take on responsibilities and accountability.

    Professional Background of candidate
    Minimum 2 years in a project planning and coordination (or relevant) position, preferably in the one of the following industries: IT network infrastructure installation, E & I, Marine/ Offshore Construction or Oil & Gas industries.

    Applicants with Basic technical knowledge relevant to above industries; or who have experience in other positions within the same industries seeking a change in work environment would be much favorably considered.

    Fresh school leavers will also be considered if field of study is industry-relevant.

    Educational Background
    Minimum NTC in a related preferred but will consider outstanding candidates with other qualifications

    Language Abilities – MUST HAVE!
    Good in both written and spoken English and Mandarin, Hokkien and/or Teochew
    Ability to communicate with our China and/or Indonesian partners a plus

    IT Skills
    Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite – Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint for creating documents such as official quotations, purchase orders, budget templates and corporate presentations.

    Ability to use Autocad a plus

    Work Hours & Employment Schemes
    Incentives scheme are inclusive of all staff, regardless if they are part time or full time. This will be on per project basis, and will be paid out in accordance to payment schedule of respective clients.

    Rates and salary and commensurate with experience and value-add quotient.

    Scheme 1 (Part Time, CONTRACT FOR SERVICE)
    • You would be a sub contracted staff and be responsible for your own PA insurance, CPF contributions and IRAS reporting etcetera as required by the Laws of Singapore.
    • Hourly rated, required for 3 days x 8 work hours per week (excluding lunch breaks of 1 hour), Monday to Fridays.
    • You would be able to work from home, on site or outside of the office but will need to report to office the on the first designated work day of each week
    • You may need to report to office on some Saturdays for staff meetings where you would be paid the same rate for the hours incurred
    • Own transport preferred
    • You may claim a reasonable amount of taxi fare or mileage, to and from the office, as well as for work related travelling.
    • You are expected to follow through with work assigned to you within agreed timelines
    • Probation period : 3 months

    Scheme 2 (Full time, CONTRACT OF SERVICE)
    • Monthly rated, 8 work hours per day (Excluding lunch breaks of 1 hour) Mondays to Fridays, alternate Saturdays 4 hours each
    • Group Insurance Coverage (Medical)
    • Paid Annual Leave 14 days, Sick Leave 12 Days, Hospitalisation leave 60 Days
    • Maternity / Paternity / Childcare Leave as per Singapore labour laws
    • You would be able to work from home, on site or outside of the office. You will need to report to office at least 3 days a week, inclusive of the first work day, and subject to job requirements where you may be needed in the office for more days.
    • Greater opportunities for personal growth

    • You may claim a reasonable amount of taxi fare or mileage, to and from the office, as well as for work related travelling.
    • Probation period : 3 months

    Work Tools
    For both schemes you will be issued with a company laptop computer and/or a mobile phone. In instances where your own mobile phone is used, subsidies would be provided for mobile telecommunications and data bills.

    Greetings to all, I’m currently looking out for part time permanent IT-related work (preferably web design/development work) / research writing work / web graphics design work / programming trainee/intern / web development trainee/intern which are part time permanent or freelance permanent by nature. I’m currently pursuing part time diploma studies specializing in Information Technology and Engineering in a local polytechnic here. I’ve acquired skillsets like creating HTML/CSS webpages, developing Flash banner animations for webpages, designing graphics design for webpages and possessing the basic and sound knowledge of JavaScript and PHP programming for webpages. I’ve also possessed the basic fundamentals knowledge of Java, C#, VB.Net programming and PLC programming. My experiences came largely from the school projects I’m involved previously.

    I also have a keen interest for web graphics designing and research writing. As for web graphics designing, my experiences came largely from the school projects I was involved previously. I created the graphics designs with Photo Pos Pro software (similar to Adobe Photoshop). And for the research writing part, I’ve previously done researching for materials around a theme topic and compiled report writings for my previous school projects and my experiences came largely from there.

    I’m seeking out for permanent part time positions as I’ve to do part time studies on my hand.     I am very disappointed to some companies in Singapore. They just rejected my application because I stayed in the east and the job opening is in the west. They always said that we, Singaporean, refuse to work far from home due to long distance travelling. This is not true and in fact the employer are the one that reject our application. Furthermore, if the company department section manager is a foreigner then they will immediately rejected us Singaporean also.

When I read of so many cases, it really make me wonder why transitioning.org not create a place to marry these 2 groups of people. We do have position for IT sales and technical.       @linn clever son ! You sound and smell like a loan shark! If you are genuine , please state your real name, address and telephone number and we can ring ministry of finance to check you out. Nothing to worry about if you are a philanthropist or community service minded but don t prey on the weak, gullible and desperate!!

      Gilbert s website is not for loan sharks (ah long) and soliciting as such without a license is a crime!!
