Donations

Transitioning.org has survived for the past ten months and to date we have helped more than 200 jobless readers who have emailed us for counselling or other support services. Many have also joined our support group or networking activities conducted on an adhoc basis. We also have a readership of close to two thousand readers by now.
We have also helped book rooms for people who need counselling and so far I have personally foot the bill at ECTA (Executive Counselling & Training Academy). We do not charge the unemployed for any counselling or support group activities conducted as the pool of counsellors volunteered their services free of charge. A normal regular hour of counselling can set one back between $50 – $100. Each hour of counselling room usage is charged at around $20 which is heavily subsidised.
We also give small amount of cash (between $50 – $100) to those whom we felt are really in bad shape. We hope that we can give to more jobless people who need some small cash along the way but we are limited monetarily here.
There is also the monthly charges on maintaining the website for our loyal readers. Each month we have to pay US$10 for the web hosting of the site.
I have being supporting the society’s work fulltime without any income for the past 6 months except for some part -time teaching work earlier this year in Singapore.
I solicit some small donation from my loyal supporters here to offset the expenses in maintaining the site. Any amount is welcomed.
Do let me know if you are keen to support me in this cause of helping the unemployed. All donation will be kept confidential and will be one-off. Please email me at gilbert@transitioning.org if you wish to donate.
Thanks.
Gilbert
