I hope this email finds you well.
I came across your contact details online and thought it might be good to approach you for some advice.
My dad is 59 years old this year and he has been doing odd-jobs for the most part of his career. He mainly works in shipyard and is relatively well-verse in the area of mechanical technician (commissioning).
He is currently unemployed and is having difficulty finding a stable job. He does not have any relevant certificates as his experience was gained while working on the job.
Will you be able to advise how I can go about to help him secure a job role?
I appreciate you taking your busy time to read through this email.
Many thanks again for your help and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Thanks for your mail.
Unfortunately at that age there are little options for employment except in F & B, retail and probably transport ie cab driving.
Some social work services also welcome matured workers.
Hope this has help.
