41-year-old jobless Singaporean with BA from NUS works as odd job worker in order to survive

Hi Gilbert

I’m a 41-year-old Singaporean who has a BA from NUS.

In 2013, I resigned from my 10-year-old job and went to India to teach under SIF SVO programme.

Since I came back in Feb 2014, I have worked as waiters, counter staff and for the whole of 2015, been surviving on teaching to 3 piano students earning $200/month.

I’m beginning to feel the strain as my savings are used up.

I’ve almost given up hope to finding any gainful empolyment; I still cannot get past my own ego to work as a taxi driver, or as a waiter, cleaner or pump attendant.

Attached is my CV.

Hope you can help.

William
