I have been following your website for quite some time now and I have come to realise that many of us Singaporeans have been facing retrenchment issues when coming to our 40s.
My friends and I have collaborated and form a carpentry workshop and we are dealing with many of the Interior Designers and a few Architects with their carpentry works.
I would like to seek your opinion and views if our fellow Singaporeans will be willing to start afresh in learning a new trade within this Industry.
We can’t offer much as this is a new start up but we are open to profit sharing within among the few of us putting in the hard work together. There will be minimal salary upfront as our profit comes in with the number of projects awarded to us and we have also been doing some marketing too.
Among the 4 of us, only 1 is doing this full time together with 2 full time carpenters. We are looking for people who is willing to do sales and project manage the projects they are assigned to.
Will there be people willing to take up the offer and they may have to endure some sweat and walking as part of the job requirements?
We are very much open to willing parties and I do hope to seek your opinion on this.
Many thanks in advance.
