53-year-old suicidal jobless PMET recovered and starting afresh with a food store business after selling flat

Hi Gilbert,

Happy Chinese New Year!

I am a supporter and admirer of your work.  I call you my Band of Botak Brothers – Gilbert, M Ravi and Wijeysingha.  Keep up the good work!

I have lost my job about 5 years ago, got depressed and suicidal, but my sister paid for my sessions with a private psychiatrist.

With great support from my wife and sister, I recovered and got stronger after that. So I understand what your clients are feeling and going through.

Recently, at 53, I have just lost my job again and owe about $100k of bank debt.

I am going to sell my HDB flat, pay the debt, move back to my father’s place  and use the remaining cash to open a food store.

So I would like to request for your  E book and a session of Financial Consulting to learn how to deal with the debts before I sell the flat.

Hi Gilbert and Albert,

I had a very fruitful meeting with Albert the coach.  He gave me many suggestions and advices on how to move ahead.

Albert, thank you very much.

We felt that one of the best option is to start a Thai food store.

My wife is Thai and we used to open a Thai food store at NUS canteen about 10 years ago.  Current startup cost at the popular hawker centres at Clementi and West Coast is about $100k for transfer and $20k for equipments.

We may already have 2 investors interested.

Albert suggested that I need coaching on Business management on running the food store and dealing with investors.

Can you please recommend a coach for me?

Editor’s note: we have emailed our Ebook to the writer and provided him with career coaching service. We are still looking for someone who can provide business management assistance, if you can volunteer with us, please let us know.
