Regarding your request for feedback on the JOBDB job advertisement for the position of business development executive, I don’t think the pay quoted of $1500 – $1800 is too low. I would have applied for the job if I’m a fresh graduate. I remembered I started off with pay packet of $1,300 per month as a fresh diploma graduate. A fresh graduate honestly don’t have much to bargain over salary remuneration and can only treat this position as a stepping stone experience for other careers. In fact, even with 2 years experience, I might still apply for the job since the higher band of $1,800 is still considered average market rate. (although its probably in the lower half of the average market pay scale) In my previous job, I only earned $2,000 per month after 3.5 years.
