 1. What is your opinion about people saying that foreigners are getting a good deal and locals getting the bad deal?
Are you local? Did you serve NS?
I notice alot of local eurasians like to reassure their friends that they serve NS, why do you think so?
If you are so pro-emigration, why are you back? Is the grass greener on the other side?
This is an awesome thread.
I know, tons of random questions, Just wanting to hear your opinion.

2. Very true, don’t talk about Mid 60. My brother is in the Mid 40 and trying to land a Job in Simei NTUC coffee shop not as Supervisor but as a cleaner. The S’pore Manager told my brother, “sorry no full time Job available” just Part-time. Work Timing from 5p.m to 10p.m 7 Days a week. Salary $350 minus S$50becos NTUC provide uniform. Leftover miserable $300. He look around and saw PRC Supervisor and other FW workers. He did took up the Job to occupy his time as not to rot/decay at home. See this is how our heartless Government becomes, worst than a beast. Worst of all the PRC supervisor still shout at our S’pore Uncles & Aunties. Very sad indeed.

3. When many people live together in cities….in crowded space…. human beings begins to exhibit very competitive and aggressive behaviour.
look at it as all of us like vessels containing water…. all link by a pipe at the lowest level…
water will flow continuously flow from one vessel to another…. this will be reflected in constant comparison and fighting.
In medical school, we call this the Crane Principle… research which validated this principle was done by none other than the good doctor in his final year thesis.
that explains your first question.

I am definitely local
100%
I also served my NS and full reservist liability

I always found eurasians a perculiar lot
I have some good friends who are eurasions
I think they suffer from an identity crisis…west not west and east not east.
I think they desperately have a need to belong…that explains why they feel that serving NS will make them 100% singaporean…like a leveller of some sort.

I am neither pro or against migration
we have to choose for ourselves what is good for us and our children
I am back to serve all of you…. to ensure that singaporeans have good mental health.
to your question….yes grass is definitely greener over in the USA but from USA. the sky seems bluer over in singapore…..
this brings us back to the Crane Principle of Constant Comparison and Endless Envy.

I wish you good mental health

Interesting… I might try some of this on my blog, too. It’s quite interesting how you sometimes stop being innovative and just go for an accepted solution without actually trying to improve it… you make a couple of good points.

You will not believe the way it can transform unless you see it While watching TV, kids are inactive and tend to snack. You can hear some Hulk phrases that will send everyone running to hide.
