There is no doubt that Twitter is an excellent resource for job seekers. I use twitter to offer career advice in 140 characters or less (a challenge for sure). I would suggest that Twitter is not the greatest place for finding job leads but rather a world-class place for developing business friendships that can turn into real jobs vs. just job leads. I would suggest that any active job seeker leverage Twitter to develop friendships with people that work for companies that you love. Then, you can show them bites of your skillsets. That, I believe is the real gold of Twitter...the ability to develop business friendships that you might not be able to develop anywhere else.
