The 39th Sun-Herald City2Surf is the world’s largest running event with 75,000 entrants. Entries have now closed for Sunday, August 9.
Whether you are walking, jogging or running this iconic 14km race from Hyde Park to the spectacular Bondi Beach, you’ll find all the information you need right here to be able to make the most of this great day out. With many people participating in fancy dress, wherever you are on the day there is such an exciting atmosphere and something for everyone to enjoy.
Spectators are welcome along the course and the race will be telecast live on Ten and One HD nationally from 8.30am EST with radio coverage on Vega 95.3FM and 2UE 954. Don’t miss The Sydney Morning Herald on Tuesday, August 11 for the full results supplement.
Demonstrate your community spirit by supporting a Herald Hero and donating to your favourite charity. Last year $1.25 million was raised thanks to our fundraisers and supporters and this year we aim to hit $2 million.
Thanks to all of our partners, charities and volunteers, without whom it could not happen. Best of luck to all participants for a safe and happy journey from City2Surf!
