Father and son found dead

A 35-year-old father and his 7-year-old son were found dead on Friday at the foot of Block 287 Bukit Batok East Ave 3.

Police received a call from the public informing them about the incident at 1.55pm. Paramedics who arrived at the scene pronounced the two Indian males dead at 2.15pm.

The pair was believed to have lived in the neighbourhood.

Residents living in Block 287 heard a loud thud slightly before 2pm. Later, a pair of slippers was found on the 24th storey, but it is not known if it belonged to any of the deceased.

Distraught relatives of the family are assisting police investigations into the unnatural deaths. LEONG WEE KEAT
