Today marks the double digit figure of someone in transition – day 10.

This week, two of our site readers found and I was happy for them. One found a job doing telemarketing and the other became a trainer. I shared their joy and excitment as they related their new found to me.

For me, there are many opportunites for networking especially among organisations that need me to provide some tips on how to help the unemployed along the way. I hope to impart my knowledge to them if possible.

Many companies and readers also email the organisation for assistance and advice which kept me stucked on the internet for many hours. There is also the time spent on searching for useful articles to post on the site.

This week, the site enjoyed a 10% spike in readership – from 300 to about 320 and the hit rate keeps cruising at around 5000-6000 strong.  We still receive  regularly  5-6 emails from readers who need either counselling or group assistance.

I am also on the look out for free office space so that I can at least provide an official address to our society.

The 5000 brochures will be ready by next week and we intend to flood the community with them so that many people who are unemployed can gain access to our activities.

As unemployment reins it’s ugly head in months to come, our society intend also to meet them head on with our voluntary services.
