Gilbert’s Note:

This is not surprising given the  poor employer employee relationship Singapore is currently having. More needs to be done to improve the welfare of workers here. Politics in the workplace also seem to push  many workers here to seek employment abroad. Managers seem destined to drive workers up the wall with incessant demands sometimes bordering on the ridiculous. The current economic crisis also doesn’t help us here with many fearing job losses. Altogether, a dismal year for the local workers.
